A lot of you may have heard about the One Room Challenge, as it has gained lots of popularity over the past two years, but for those of you who are new to the trend, I’ll give you a quick explanation. A lot of blogger participate in what’s called a One Room Challenge, wherein you choose one space in your house to entirely redesign within 6 weeks. During this time, each blogger publish a post every week to show the progress that’s being made. After the 6 weeks of renovations are done, a Room Reveal post is then published to show a sort of “Before & After,” the complete transformation. But we’ll be adding our own little twist to it. We’re doing a room by room Home Makeover for Renters!
All the DIY projects that will be shown throughout our Home Makeover series will be catered to a very specific set of people – renters. Yup, you read that correctly! We are going to be undertaking projects that will transform every room in the house/apartment even if you don’t own your living space. Some of the things we’ll be doing will be moveable, so you can take it with you when you move. Some other things will be a bit more permanent, but is well within a renters right to be doing (with landlord approval, of course).
We hope that you can find some inspiration and realize that if I can do some of this stuff, you definitely can too!
