In case you missed it on Instagram, I was recently saying how I feel like Max isn’t incorporating enough meat in his diet. What I mean by this is that he doesn’t often add in meat to the meals we make. Since I’m vegetarian – pescatarian, to be precise – that means it doesn’t eat that much meat. A lot of people – Max included – have told me I should be happy that he has reduced his meat consumption. Although that is partly true, I want to make he’s healthy more than anything else. So this week we are doing a veg & non veg meal plan.
Some of this week’s meals will have both a vegetarian and non vegetarian option. Basically, it just means he can throw in some meat at the last minute, because I am definitely not making two separate meals every day. If you have any suggestions for meals, please leave us a note in the comments!

Some items aren’t on our grocery list because we bought them last week while they were on sale. For example, we got a package of chicken at Costco (they were $5 off!) and I bought a sweet potato because I was craving some but didn’t end up eating it yet.
If you have any suggestions on other meals we can make where we add meat, or serve meat on the side, I’d love for you to share those ideas in the comments!
